The session featured expert presentations covering various aspects of digitalization in hydropower:
- Katerina Drivakou (UBITECH ENERGY) opened the event by outlining the current trends and barriers in digitizing the hydropower sector, emphasizing the need for robust data management and industry collaboration.
- Pavlos Bouzinis (Metamind Innovations) presented the D-HYDROFLEX toolkit and reference architecture, demonstrating how digital tools can optimize hydropower operations and enhance efficiency.
- Alkiviadis Tromaras (CERTH) introduced digitalization solutions from the Di-Hydro project, focusing on cutting-edge tools designed to improve real-time monitoring and system performance.
Challenges and Insights from the Q&A Session
