On 26 August 2026, the Greek Demo Event of the D-HYDROFLEX project took place at the PPC offices in Athens, Greece. The event was organised in a hybrid format and gave participants the opportunity to learn more about the project, its main results, and the implementation of D-HYDROFLEX solutions at the Greek demonstration sites.
During the event, PPC presented the overall progress of the project, the main technical achievements and its contribution across the different Work Packages. Particular attention was given to the validation of the D-HYDROFLEX Toolkit and the activities carried out within the Greek demonstrations.
The main part of the event focused on the implementation of D-HYDROFLEX solutions at the Greek pilot sites. Participants were introduced to the Dam Geometric Digital Twin, the Dam Digital Twin, and the HYDRO-FBOX cybersecurity solution. These technologies support the digitalisation, monitoring and cyber resilience of hydropower infrastructure and demonstrate how advanced digital tools can be applied in real operating environments.
The event also provided an opportunity to discuss the potential for scaling the developed solutions and their future exploitation. The open discussion and Q&A highlighted the practical value of D-HYDROFLEX technologies for supporting safer, smarter and more resilient hydropower operation.
The Greek Demo Event marked another important step in demonstrating the real-world applicability of the D-HYDROFLEX Toolkit and its potential to support the digital transformation of the European hydropower sector.
